Challenges of Raising a Child With Autism

If your child has recently been diagnosed with Autism,
you need to think about this very carefully.
Because the thing is, unless you are fully prepared to
deal with ALL the many challenges of raising a child
with Autism, you're going to end up increasingly
frustrated...and your child will too.
I see it time and time again--even teachers who are
supposed to be entrusted with your beautiful child,
can drop the ball in a big way.
For example, one day I was observing a classroom.
Everything seemed to be going well and the student
with Autism was getting along fine...until they went
to recess.
On the playground, I observed the child standing off
on the sidelines, where there just happened to be a
large shrub growing through the playground fence.
Much to my horror, I saw the child methodically
plucking off leaves one by one...and EATING them
like popcorn.
I went straight to the teacher to clue her in. And you
know what she said?
"Oh that's Okay. Those bushes needed pruning anyway."
Say WHAT?
Well, that was simply not going to cut it. So I quietly
took charge  and directed the child's attention to more
appropriate activities WITHOUT them having a major
blowout (or a trip to the ER!).
The thing is...would you know what to do?
What if your kid likes to squeeze their bread in a glass
of water at dinner and wring it out all over the table?
How about the inevitable dramatic meltdown in public?
Or your child's refusal to wear anything but a Superman
cape and clown suit to your sister's wedding?
Will YOU now what to do without going crazy in the
meantime?
There are so many simple, easy to implement strategies
you can begin using immediately, even if your child is
still just a toddler. In fact, it is even MORE crucial that
you begin building a strong foundation while your child
is very little...BEFORE they start school.
Remember, you have 60-days to go through the program
and actually start implementing the strategies with
your child.
I'm confident you will quickly see the effectiveness of
them--but  if by chance you are not happy with the
Ultimate Autism Solution, no worries.
I will return every last penny and we'll still be friends.
So why not give it a shot and see what you think? Your
child will be the better for it, and so will you.
All the best,
Sandra Arntzen, M.Ed
P.S. You know what a lot of parents I work with get
to see eventually? Their child doing well in high school
and even going on to college! FANTASTIC things can
happen when you start working with your child from the
time you get the diagnosis--so please, do not delay!
Look, I don't know what your child will accomplish--but
neither do you. And if you don't begin now, you may
always wonder what could have been.
Please do not risk your child's future.
